Sterling Silver Rose Stud Earrings

Roses are classically beautiful and never go out of style. These small rose studs are perfect when dressed up or down. The make a great everyday earring but would also be perfect for more formal affairs, such as a wedding. They are only about 9mm in length and width (about 1/3 inch). The roses are handcrafted from .960 sterling silver. The posts of the earrings, as well as the ear nuts (backs) are .925 sterling silver.

I handmake these earrings in my home from metal clay, a substance that works like clay but becomes pure metal when fired in a kiln. The posts are soldered on and a patina is added to help the texture of the crosses stand out. Each pair is made with love and care.
