The leaf is small and silver in color, antiqued to show off the veins. It also has a striped leaf pattern on the back. The pendant is handmade from white copper metal clay. It's formed from a lump of clay, sanded, fired in my kiln (which burns off all the binders in the clay, making it solid metal), oxidized, polished, and coated in a clear coat to protect the finish. White copper clay is made with a mixture of copper and nickel. The clear coating should protect most people with nickel sensitivities, but as it will wear over time, people with severe sensitivities may want to avoid it.
